The Codimex Group is a family-owned, pan-African group of companies founded in Senegal in 1976 by the founding father, whose initial activity was retail, then semi-wholesale and wholesale. In the early 1980s, the Group set up operations in Côte d’Ivoire, before expanding into Central Africa in the early 2000s, choosing the Republic of Congo as the site.
Group companies are based in the Republic of Congo, with representative offices in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire and, very shortly, Cameroon.
Today present in 7 sectors of activity, the Codimex Group of Companies favors the establishment of companies with a strong positive social, economic and environmental impact in the countries where they operate. We believe in the unrivalled potential of the African continent, particularly Central Africa, and our ambition is to play a long-term role in the responsible development of this region.
