The Codimex Group is a pan-African family group of companies founded in Senegal in 1976 by its founding father, whose initial activity was retail trade, then semi-wholesale and wholesale. In the early 1980s, the Group established itself in Côte d’Ivoire, and then in the early 2000s, it expanded into Central Africa, choosing the Republic of Congo for its establishment.

The Group’s companies are therefore based in the Republic of Congo, with representations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, and Benin.

Launch of Food and Co activities, marked by the opening of the PAUL franchise in Congo.

ITE launches its operations and mobilizes over 400 employees to produce mineral water, juices, and snacks.

Prima Market is launched! The company ensures national distribution of frozen products (poultry, fish, meat).

Millennium Motors is established and positions itself in the supply of spare parts for private and commercial vehicles.

Creation of CELEC, an ambitious company specializing in the distribution and installation of low and medium voltage electrical equipment.

CODIMEX launches IMMO INVEST, a company specializing in real estate project management and user management.

The BUROTOP IRIS foundation begins its activities. It is the group’s social arm, contributing to reducing social inequalities while promoting education and health.

BUROTOP IRIS is founded, initially as an office equipment supplier, before becoming a versatile player in the deployment of information systems.
